These Terms of Use apply to Sangeet Jagat (omkarsangeet.org), operated by Bhartiya Sangeet Kalapith, a registered society (Registration No. F-22232 (CSN)), Plot No. 36, S.No. 218/1, Radhaswami Colony, Harsul, Ta. & Dist. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra – 431008, India. By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. The service
Sangeet Jagat publishes articles and other material on Indian music, music education, health and culture for general information and education. Reading is free. Optional reader accounts let you save articles, follow authors and receive in-app notifications. We may add, change or stop features at any time.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create a reader account.
- Give a real e-mail address that you control, keep your password secret, and tell us if you suspect misuse of your account.
- You may delete your account at any time (You → Account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.
3. Acceptable use
You must not: break any law; infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or privacy; upload malware; try to access accounts or systems that are not yours; scrape or copy the website in bulk; overload the website (including by automated requests); impersonate any person; or post content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing or misleading.
4. Content and copyright
- Articles, images, logos and the design of Sangeet Jagat are protected by copyright and other laws. Unless stated otherwise, copyright in an article belongs to its author and/or Bhartiya Sangeet Kalapith.
- You may read, print and share links to articles for personal, non-commercial use. Short quotations with clear credit and a link to the original article are welcome. Any other copying, republication, translation or commercial use needs our prior written permission.
- Authors who publish with us do so under our Author Agreement.

Donations are voluntary contributions to Bhartiya Sangeet Kalapith for its objectives. Payment processing, receipts and refunds are explained on the Support page.
