Sangeet Jagat is a place to learn and talk about Indian music. Comments are welcome when they help others understand, add a reference, or share an experience respectfully.

Not allowed
- Abuse, insults, threats, harassment, hate against any community, religion, caste, gender or region.
- Links, advertising, spam, self-promotion, phone numbers or e-mail addresses.
- Personal details of anyone (yours or others’).
- Medical advice presented as fact; health questions belong with a qualified doctor.
- Copied text from books, songs or other websites.
How moderation works
- Only logged-in readers can comment. A reader’s first comment is checked before it appears.
- Comments with words from our review list wait for a check. Comments reported by several readers are hidden until checked.
- Moderators and the article’s author may hide comments, and authors may turn comments off for their article.
- Repeated breaches may lead to the account being closed.
